RGV is Number One!

Not only has Illinois earned their rep (2 out of the last 4 Govs sent to prison), but Chicago politicians run the state, so that should tell the rest of the country something.

I'm sure the RGV has a large amount of corruption. It has all the makings for it. Next to drug cartel towns that use deadly force, low income population, illegals, Spanish speaking when needed without reprisal, lack of formal education yet still a very smart population.

A local once asked me who was my ????. When I asked what that was, I was told it was Spanish for a person who irons. "You know" they said "when you have problems down here they smooth them out."

Blago is still in prison. One of his buddies just got out. He was the money collector. He once sold a property to...... You really don't want to go there. Let's just say that if the RGV topped Illinois, they must have some real problems, cause we set the bar pretty high.

Shoot, we spend the winter in Yuma, AZ. Granted city council members and the mayor are lower on the totem pole, you better believe who ever is running for those seats has personal land deal in his or her hind pocket!

Right there is your answer ..... they are at war with the state for trying to do the job the Feds are supposed to do and this is one way to retaliate .....

It is simply a compilation of corruption convictions and guilty pleas by public officials, hardly a war against anyone.

However, just because many other politicians may not have been arrested or tried and convicted doesn't mean they aren't GUILTY OF CORUPTION and other underhanded illegal activities. :E
