Roaring River State Park Cassville, MO

We've just returned from a trip to Roaring River State Park in Cassville, MO. It was great fun. I'm starting a 3 part blog post to share video (including aerial footage from our quadcopter) and photos on our blog at The Camping Dad. We had a great time and just wanted to share the adventure.

    It is near Cassville, MO which is southeast of Kirksville. It's down near Table Rock Lake/Branson area. About and hour away from Branson. Great trout fishing there. It's a great park. The park was not full this time of year and they have some sites that you are not allowed to reserve, but some are. Here is a link to their site Roaring River State Park

    Where is this park and how do you get there from Kirksville, Mo? Do you need reservations?

    Oh man it must have been cold. If my memory serves me you just missed a snow storm too. Did you go there to fish or just enjoy the sights?
