Route to Rivers End-Tybee

Headed there in a few weeks and we will be coming down I-95, Google has me coming down 17 into Savannah and I would have to get over to Bay St as someone previously had suggested. The campground directions tell you to go all the way down to 204 to the Truman Pkwy and around Savannah due to a construction project. What is the best way that others have traveled or is there a better way than either of my first two options?
  • You can make it down Bay Street from 17. Semi trucks hauling to the plants out that way all the time. I was just out there yesterday and there were plenty of them going through.
There is construction at the end of Bay Street where it turned onto President Street, the detour which is a right and a left is clearly marked. Just stay in the right lane on Bay Street and you will be fine.

Be in the right lane coming across the river on 17 and take the exit as marked
