RV Campground recommendations for OR coast

We're planning a trip from Eugene, OR down 101 in a few months, and was wondering if any of you had recommendations for RV parks along the way down into CA. We have a 40-foot motor home. Any help would be appreciated.

State parks are awesome!

With our 40' MH we stayed at Beverly Beach, Bullards Beach, Cape Blanco (a favorite), Fort Stevens and Harris Beach - A Loop #15 is great!

Nehalem Bay was great -- right on the beach.

It is absolutely necessary to make reservations many months prior to your reservation date. This is especially necessary for weekend reservations. Many of the people in Oregon are limited to RVing during the weekends which makes it difficult for RVers wanting to spend a week or longer.
My daughter lives in Oregon and RVs all the time and she has difficulty getting reservations when she tries a year in advance.:( I would have a backup list of RV parks to use if needed.

Don't miss Harris Beach St Park

I think we have stayed at all of coastal the State Parks at some time, enjoyed them all.

Many options on the popular OR coast, perhaps limited availability for a late reservation. Decide how far to drive, find a site and reserve now.

Look at Good Sam RV Parks and just pick areas for RV Parks.
