RV park near Mt Ranier NP

Going to Mt Saint Helens also?

On the East side of the park:

Ohanopecosh if you have a small rig.

LaWisWis if you have a bigger one.

There are commercial RV parks in Randle and Packwood.

I have a 28 ft RV. I'd like full hookups. I just plan to go to Mt Ranier and hike.

Full hook-ups means you need to use one of the commercial campgrounds at Ashford or Mineral.

They have a full hookup no frills RV park in Packwood, WA on south side. It is a Passport America campground. Looks like you are camping on someones lawn. I mean really no frills but ok campground for just leaving and doing your thing in the park.

Shady Firs in Packwood, very reasonable & quiet. Cash or checks only, no credit cards. Nice location. The larger sites don't have sewer hookup but there is a dump station.

Mount Haven RV Park in Ashford, Washington, is very nice and just a mile and a half or so from the west entrance to the park.

We are at one of the nicest RV parks we have visited. It is Silver Cove on the way to Mt. St. Helens. It isn't as near to Mt. Ranier, but great if you are going to the monument too.

Packwood RV Park is decent, and it's right in the center of Packwood which is a cool little town. The library is right next door, plus a few restaurants and a grocery just a short walk down the road. www.packwoodrv.com

Ohanapecosh and Cougar Rock campgrounds will be open through October 8. La Wis Wis is already closed for the season, as is White River, my favorite.

For a private RV Park, Cascade Peaks, between Randle and Packwood is nice--very woodsy. Unusual layout but very large.
