RV Park near Tampa

Camp Lemora just north of Tampa. Small with a lot of permanents, but we go there each year for the RV show in Tampa. Sites on the back side are wide and deep FHU. Not a resort, but adequate for getting out of the cold for a while

Try the area around Dunedon. There are several in that area just north of Clearwater.

If you have not been to Fla. you will probally like most places from Tampa south for the weather. The further south you go the better the weather in terms of warmth in the winter. That being said the biggest differnce will come in the evenings and nighttime. It still gets chilly here some nights in SW Fla. There are a number of parks in SW Fla. that have a large Canadian population during the season as you know except for the flags and license plates it is hard to tell the Canadians from the Midwesterners. Look at a map for the area or areas you would think you might like and then google that area for RV parks and call them for rates and deals. They are all mostly friendly. I know you said you didn't want the coast, but it is warmer closer to the coast and we get the breezes from the gulf that you don't get inland. During the summer the temperature can range 5 to 8 degrees warmer only ten miles inland. The same can be true for the winter. Also let them know about your pets, most won't care some will. Welcome we love your tourism dollars.

I thought I made it clear. The Recreation Plantation. They have nearly 900 sites, two club houses, heated pool, hot tub, tons of activities and plenty of friendly people. It is however a 55+ resort. you can find out more here.

You might want to check out Rock Crusher Canyon RV Park. When you look at their rates, note they INCLUDE all utilities even electricity.

Paradise Oaks RV and Golf Resort in Bushnell.
Small par 3 golf. Great people. Clean and friendly.
We were there for the last 2 winters and have our reservations for this coming one.

I like the fact it is close to the Villages where you can bike ride for miles in a much safer environment than being on open road as the Villages is so large it spans three counties. We get a few nights with temps at or little below freezing, but for most part it is seventies and eighties. I believe it has everything you listed except cement patio.

Also, way to close to I-75 and the odors & noise for our liking....
