I done a ton of research on RVparkreviews.com and have some ideas on a place to stay when I go to Mesa next month but I was wondering if anyone near the Mesa are could recommend a good RV park.

Another option for economical camping is though Passport America and the discounts offered by the Cal Am parks (several in Mesa). Most of these exclude the high tourist season Jan thru Mar and may have other restrictions as well. But you should be able to get one week at half price if you're a PA member. Not a bad deal. Then, you simply move to the next park offering a PA discount, and you should be able to find at least a half dozen of these with rates around $20 per nite.

If you are going to be there only for a short time - up to 2 weeks, the Maricopa County Regional Parks are awesome - beautiful sites, trails and vegetation. Around Mesa would be Usery or McDowell Mountain. There's also Cave Creek and Lake Pleasant and White Tanks, depending what part of the greater Phoenix area you want to be.

In that same area we will be at the Mesa/Apache Junction KOA for a week late April. Won't be spending much time at the park so it works for us.
