Take 101 at Cloverdale to 128 to 1 North. North on 1 through Albion and on to Mendocino. None of that route is too tight for your rig. 128 is nice, new pave with some tighter turns but nothing you won't be able to navigate. 1 up the coast from 128 through Albion is straight enough as well.
Also, 101 at Willets to 20 and then south on 1 to Mendocino isn't bad either. 20 looks to be well paved and two lanes each direction for most of it. More traffic that way compared to 128. Maybe make a loop; coming from one direction and heading home the other.
I do both routes a couple times a year with a truck camper towing a boat trailer. Easy Peasy
