Sacramento, Ca
Any recommendations for an RV park near/in Sacramento? It's a stop on our way to Yosemite, and yes, I've read the reviews. But we're still having trouble making a decision.

- I have stayed at several of the campgrounds and I would recommend the Cal Expo RV park.
On edit, I agree with other posters, if you can go a little further then definitly Flag City in Lodi, CA. - You could drive an extra 35 or 40 miles south and stop at Flag City RV park at Hwy 12 and I 5. There is a flying J there also. Then you are closer to Yosemite for a good morning start.

Great place to overnight. Lots of pull thru sites- I don't recall park names .. but I stayed in Sacramento once and have stayed outside Lodi about a dozen times. Suggest you skip Sacramento.
- Tower Park KOA, just west of Lodi.
- I live near Sacto-skip Sacto and head to Lodi. You won't be mixing with the commuter traffic in the morning and Lodi is just a bit further down the road.
- I would try to avoid tower park at all cost. I recently drove by on motorcycle to scout the area out and it is a pit.
