We will be traveling on I-5 through the Sacramento, CA area on March 17th but I’m having a hard time finding an RV park online. Does anyone have any suggestions of a RV Park in that area that easy to get to from I-5?

you could try campgroundreviews.com and see if their is anything listed in that area.

Cal Expo RV Park is close to the five. No frills but it is safe and near dining and shopping.

Sac West RV ParkFormerly KOA. Nice friendly staff.

Big truck stop and separate good RV park. Going north it is on the right about 100 yards. Sacramento has 1 RV park at the State Expo park, not rated very high and you have to drive through downtown traffic. The next good RV park is at the Rolling Hills Casino in Corning Calif. about 40 miles north of Sac.

Sac West is nice. Not cheap but only about 4 miles from downtown.

Oh yea nice and friendly but the rest of the place sucks. Stayed there 3 years ago and the voltage was so low my AC keep kicking off. Had to run my generator all day for the AC

The casino has a pretty decent buffet...

I think the Sports Bar has much tastier food or their Steak house is outstanding food although more expensive.

Absolutely get a reservation. There are a lot of Paradise Camp Fire evacuees there.

Actually, all but about 3 evacuee trailers have been moved out of the Casino RV Park as of about 3 weeks ago.

Yolo County Fairground in Woodland is a Ok CG close to I5.

Be aware that I5 traffic N of Sac is heavy with the new Amazon distribution center next to the airport.

As already stated by other....Flag City RV at intersection of I-5 and Highway 12 ......or north to Rolling Hills Casino ...off I-5 exit at Liberal Ave.near Corning.
