That's what we're going to do - go to RGV until mid-March then spend a month near San Antonio and hill country.
Be aware it can be pretty cold there in Feb., Below breezing at times. You may want to come down to the Rio Grande Valley. About 600 parks to chose from. - TyroneandGladysExplorerAnother vote for Travelers World. When we stayed there we went on an all day tour of San Antonio and we had a lady in the park come to our RV and she walked out dog several time during the day.

- flyfishing48ExplorerThanks everyone. Looks like I'll be calling a few weeks ahead of arrival.
- Bob___AnnExplorerWe make our reservation about two weeks out. We like Travelers World as it is a nice clean choice. The local Mexican Restaurant across the street is a great local spot to eat. ENJOY!
- BB_TXNomadTravelers World RV Resort is also a good choice. And popular with snowbirds. A little ways south of downtown and also on a bus line direct to downtown and the Riverwalk. One of the missions on the Mission Trail is only a mile or so away.
- TucsonJimExplorer IIVery popular. Make a reservation at least a week ahead of time to assure yourself of a spot.
I recommend the KOA at 602 Gembler Road. They have a bus stop right in front of the park and you can get a bus ride down to all the attractions for less than a $buck a piece. - IroverExplorerI believe you may want to search RVParkReviews or Allstays.com and do some calling! Hidden Valley RV Park is in San Antonio and I receive their Newsletter. Terri and Mark Blascke are the owner and it is a short distance SW of SA.
