Short drive to the BART and in you go like a local.

We stayed here three years ago and it was a pleasant RV park. It is a parking lot with full hookups, but it was quiet and IF you got an ocean view, that would be nice. We had a space near the entrance and office, but it wasn't noisey. Easy drive into the city. We did the Giants baseball game, the Wharf, and Chinatown. no problems.
  • for your requirements, only San Francisco RV Park or the Petaluma KOA are probably your only close choices.

there are some other choices farther out.
  • Another vote for Petaluma KOA. We stayed there a couple of years ago, very well run place. We took advantage of their "SF City Tour", worth EVERY penny IMHO.

  • I agree with Time. San Francisco RV Resort in Pacifica. Pay attention and you can drive your toad in the city no sweat...and walk or bike the bridge. I prefer biking it. Unforgettable!
  • As mentioned the KOA in Petaluma should fit your bill. I always stay there when I visit San Francisco.

It is a very nice and well kept park and offers a lot to do and the staff is helpful if needed for tours or any information for the city or wine tours.
  • In Petaluma just north of the city. Nice place. Think it was a KOA. Been a few years.
