Sea Rim

Anyone been to Sea Rim State Park in Texas lately? Can you drive onto the beach and dry camp? Last time I was there three years ago they had cleaned up from Hurricane Ike but there were no facilities rebuilt. Planning a weekend there in a couple of weeks and hoping for peace and quiet and no mosquitoes.

Two years ago for us, I’ve been keeping an eye on its status and from all I can tell there doesn’t seem to be much change. Tripadvisor and the TX state park website are the only sources for info since it’s so infrequently visited. Report back will you? I’m planning a trip in July.

    Will do.

  • Wow, I haven't heard anything about Sea Rim in years. Been many since I was there last. Can't help you, sorry.
