Just wanted to put a shout out to this very nice campground. I followed suggestions on this forum last year when making reservations. I made the reservation in July of 2018 and completely forgot about the site.
Site 125 is a great site and SDCG is super nice. It is small, but has full hook ups, cement pads, a heated pool, and a very large playground area with adjacent pool. The CG is located close to the SW (quieter) portion of the island and only 10 miles or so from Bar Harbor.
I was pleasantly surprised when I arrived. I must remember better!
