Snow birding in FLA

Outdoor Resorts in Clermont, Fla. Anyone know about this place? We have booked a stay here for a week in Feb, so we can travel around the area to check out other places to spend a few months with our 5ver. Hate getting to a park and finding unfavorable parks.
Thanx for your help

It's not that they're park models as much as it's how tightly they're packed in. The RV park next door, Lake Magic RV Resort, looks much nicer.

  • Looking at it on Google's sat view, it looks like there's only a handful of RV sites sandwiched in among all the park models. Definitely not my kind of park!
  • Not a bad place, especially for a week. I live in Clermont and knew some people who were there as snow birds and liked it.
  • When you get here take a ride up to Olde Mill Stream in Umatilla. It is just an hour from Orlando resorts and in the lakes region with beautiful Old Mount Dora as the next town. Sites are large and spacious with activities you can join or just do your own thing. Not many parks like this with reasonable rates.
  • Don't know about this place but the Clerbrook Golf and RV Resort is in the same town. If you play golf this is the place to stay.
  • Go to google earth and put in their address 9000 US Highway 192, Clermont, FL 34714. It looks like the rvs are about 8 ft apart and if you look at the pool you better take a blow up pool with you. Looks way, way over crowded. Please let me know Via privet message how it was.
