Snowbirds - What are you doing now?

Doing NOW??? Cutting the grass and taking care of all the other yard related things that need done. Sprucing up the residence to get it on the market and see how lucky we may be. If it sells We'll be making our plans come together for our move to Florida. Wish us luck I think we're gonna need it.

Sitting here in MN listening to the thunder and rain. I read RV sites daily and wonder just what is wrong with me to have left AZ and the beautiful weather. I never realized it could be so nice as last Winter near Tucson..

Towed our winter rig in Texas to storage on March 5'th, and since we sold our traveling MH took off in the SUV to Florida to visit friends and family, then jumped on a plane to Jamaica for a destination wedding, came back and jumped on a cheap cruise out of Tampa, after that drove to Northern MN for some medical stuff, and are now in Michigan visiting family, then it backs to Northern MN via the UP for the summer and some downtime.

Since the MH is sold, no plans for camping this summer which is just fine with us since we like our cabin and hate to leave it during the nice summer months. Don't know if we'll buy another RV or not for traveling the shoulder snowbird season in. Really miss the freedom of a rig, but none of the rest of it.

Left Florida in middle of April and headed up to Pa. From there we are slowly working our way west until end of May then head back east to New Hampshire for July and August to escape the heat. Then to Pa. for September and back to Florida in October for the winter. Don't ever want to see snow again and have a motto: "If it's colder than 60 we head farther south, if it's warmer than 75 we head farther north! Hey, it works."

Doing spring clean up,planting, getting ready to open pool and making reservations for Spring/Summer RV'ing.....

Landscaping the home RV lot. :p

Back to work to pay for next winter. Reservations for a weekend in August with family and hoping for a long weekend in Sept in coastal Maine. Other than that, just thinking of another 3 months in St. Augustine. Don't feel bad for me ... Cape Cod is not a bad place to be. Camp on!

As I got to the inside back windows, the windex bottle separated from the squirter and fell behind the back seat. By the time I got out of the van and around the back, the full bottle had spilled on the floor. I should have washed the windows from the outside but I just went around the inside to clean all the windows at the same time.

Had to get the shop vac out quickly and vacuum up as much as I could. Of course, I was half under the seat and half outside while I was vacuuming. Of course, it started to rain quite hard while my bottom half was exposed to the elements.

Not a good morning so far. The rest of the cleaning can wait.
