St Rosa rv resort

Anyone stayed there in Navarre Florida? Have a trip planned there in a few weeks . We have a waterfront site. The reviews and pictures look great. Lookin for area attractions and things to do while we are there.
  • AT Navarre...you can see the no-toll bridge to Navarre BEACH.
Drive across to a fine pier open to tourists. Drive from
there west, along the beautiful gulf, to Pensacola beach.
No traffic. Plenty of activity on Pensacola Beach......
restaurants, pier, beach, etc. Keep going to Fort Pickens
National Park.....OLD fort...........back at Pensacola Beach,
drive north into Pensacola.....good tourist town, look on
internet.......can go back to Navarre on U S 98 or back on
the beach road. Beautiful beaches for miles......tour
    Naval Avaition museum in Pensacola.....

  • We visit Navarre often. Haven't stayed at this "newer" place but the one on "the other side of the bridge." The family is crazy about the beaches particularly. The two previous posters pretty much say it all. Navarre is close to everything; I like to drive over to the air force base and see the aircraft on display, Destin is only a stone's throw east for great food and something of a "boardwalk" on the sound, and there's terrific gold in the area. My grandson and I make it a point to take our bikes and ride from our rv park across the bridge to the beach and the area. You'll have a great time.
  • We stayed there in Oct. 2013 in a water site too.. Awesome view, especially at night when the condos are lite up.. We enjoy going to Navarre for our family vacation.. I agree with the recommendations of the other replies.. You are 25 to 30 minutes to Destin or Pensacola can't beat that.. You will certainly enjoy your stay..
