Summer Seasonal in Arizona

We are looking for a nice, high country, RV resort/campground to keep our jayco trailer for the summer. We prefer White Mountains/Rim area, but will look at Flagstaff area as well. We would like fishing, swimming, shade, and activities for kids. Anyone have good input?

Thanks!

    Why? He is looking for campground information - not workamping opportunities!
  • You might check out this one, I think it's the nicest;

  • Sorry about that website I was trying to direct you to; it's Fool Hollow Lake Recreation Area in Show Low.
  • You can't stay the season at Fool Hollow Lake. Try Googling RV parks in Show Low, Pinetop. The casino up there also has seasonal sites.
  • Near Alpine, AZ in the White Mountains is Coronado Trail RV park. Fishing at nearby Luna Lake. East Fork Black River or Big Lake is nearby as well.

    With kids you may look into the Williams, AZ area. We love Grand Canyon Railway RV park. RV guests can use the Hotels indoor pool thats next door. Williams is an old fashioned small town on route 66. Kids will love the Zip Line in town, Bearizona drive thru wild life park and zoo, deer petting zoo, numerous nearby lakes, Grand Canyon nearby. 30 miles away is Flagstaff with more to do such as Lowell Observatory, Museum of N. AZ etc. On Holiday weekends (Memorial, July 4th, Labor Day) Williams has a parade down route 66 thats fun.
