There’s a couple from Quebec in the fly-in community I’m in in south central Florida. Much to his wife’s chagrin it’s a pretty common word in Henri’s vocabulary.

One day some of the kids were over looking at the planes and Henri stood up in the wrong spot and gave himself a pretty knock on his head. The word came out very load and clearly.

Of course none of the kids understood it, so one of them asked his wife what he said.

I can still hear her reply. “Tabernacle dear, he was asking for God’s help.”.

The rest of us just couldn’t keep a straight face.

Well maybe. " In the not too distant future they may not want to go south."
In the near future, end of January Feb with daytime high temperature of -20c (-4f) while shovelling the 2 feet of new snow, I'll definitely be thinking of FL, TX or Arizona.

I understand a little French, but it played no part in my understanding the cartoon and sympathizing with our Canadian Snowbird friends. Hope to see you all next year!
