Thousand Trails Campground Las Vegas Nv

We are new to this Forum. Thank you for allowing us here.
We were wondering if any other Thousand Trails Members use this site, If so do any of you members ever visit the TT park in Las Vegas NV. We are visiting the park a nice park in general. The one complaint we have with the TT park in Vegas is every time a nice site comes available one of the employees move into it long term. I can see letting employees stay in the park. They shouldn't be able to occupy any prime sites (any time) especially in what is considered PEAK season. And what makes it worse they will allow them to park a auto not a RV in the spot for days and say it is occupied. This policy just doesn't seem right. That is the way they do business at the Thousand Trails RV park in Las Vegas. Just Venting.
  • Probably one in the same person lodging this complaint over on the Facebook TT members page. If you expect TT being some type of resort than most of you have purchased the wrong membership.....TT is what it is, not prefect in so many ways with what seems like an ever increasing employee turnover. I'll be headed to Vegas in a few days and save my opinion until then BUT certainly NOT expecting anything more than a Parking space with hookups!
  • When we stayed there about 10 years ago it was like a parking lot, bing bing bing. Have never gone back

X2, I think that most of them are like that by what I see. JMO
  • Their management staff is terrible. Complaints to ELS fall on deaf ears. What you describe happens at many of the TT parks, but much worse in the East than in the West. We had an issue with the trash dumpster at LVTT. They liked it in the handicapped space at the restroom/laundry facility. Because it blocked the only space there, ppl used our site to park in to use the facility. Came home one afternoon and had a car parked under our awning. Called the front desk and they had the manager respond. She thought it was funny and simply said she hoped they wouldn't damage my carpeting when they left. Said there was nothing they could do. When asked about the dumpster, she said it stays where it is. We eventually called the Las Vegas building department and they opened an investigation into blocking the handicapped spot. We haven't been back since so don't know the outcome. I do know the bldg dept sent out and inspector and they did a report....the park seems a little "anything goes as long as you know someone".....Dennis
  • Welcome to the forum.
We are TT members and when out west spend several weeks in the Las Vegas Park. We have been there spring and fall, but never at this time period.
Also never have seen anything like you describe. I guess by the time we get there all the work campers have settled in to their long term site.
