Have never been to Tims Ford so looking for a good spot.
I was looking at site 29 in Fairview Campground. Wondering if anyone has camped there. Is it possible to use satellite there? Would be interested in any good sites, would like to use satellite. Thanks for you help.

Thanks for the help. I can get by without the tv but grand kids going so it helps! Really wanted a water side spot.

I stayed in site 65 in 2016. Very open site that would be fine for a dish. There are some photos of the park (including a few of my site) on the three journal pages when I stayed there. I hope they have changed the "one way" section of the road at the dump station - it put the dump on the passenger side when I was there!

With an external antenna & Sleek amplifier, I had good Verizon coverage on a Jetpack...

Just got back from there. Its a great CG but for sat. you might want in the center area towards the bath house as its less blocked by trees. Site 29 will be blocked by trees to the south. The sites are generous in size and if you have a bigger rig then Fairview is the only one that can accommodate 30ft. or longer. The main CG is very tight. I was on site 70 and I saw a few folks with the dish set out. You can not get ANY OTA T.V. and you will likely be in roaming for cell service.
