Been a while since I've replied to a topic. However, this subject of long closings and slow work hits a sore spot with me. Why do these government sponsored projects take so long to complete and have cost overruns? Perhaps, lt's due to politicians and unlimited funds available (taxes). Anyway, as a comparision, the Empire State Building was built in about 18 months (Jan 22, 1930 to May 1, 1931). 12 days ahead of schedule. Try getting that done today!
