Just curious, what's at Weaver's Needle? I don't think I've ever heard of it. We've snooped through a lot of AZ, but I don't think we've ever been here before.
We've stayed at Weavers Needle twice. Sites are somewhat cramped is you are in a bigger rig. Guests were really nice and welcoming. They've had some management issues. The owner is very unyielding and a stickler for rules. They have a dog section and a non-dog area.
We always stayed and volunteered at Lost Dutchman State Park in Apache Jct. - a beauty. Definitely drive the Apache Trail over to Roosevelt Lake and return to Apache Jct. via Boyce Canyon.
