For anyone interested in fireworks, the Western Winter Blast offers an opportunity to camp at the SARA Rodeo Grounds for the week of the fireworks. They do both "Open Shooting" which are individual shells, plus at least one 1 hour show for 4 hours nightly, Thursday through Sunday. While the shows are at the Speedway, they can be watched form the rodeo grounds.

Dry camping in the Rodeo parking lots, many sites with a good view of the fireworks. There is also free dry camping at a BLM (or state, not sure which) area across AZ 95. $150.00 for the week. The shows are OK, and I saw many individual shells I've never seen before. Here is a link to many pages of photos of the shows & open shooting.

If interested, reserve as early as possible - they sell out the campground, usually be mid December. This is the info on this year's just finished show.
