We are planning a 4 day trip to visit Providence and Newport and this place is well located. Has anyone had any experience with this campgrpound? We are 2 adults with a 34' TT. Thanks.

RI indeed. Called and booked for 4 nights. Seemed nice enough on the phone. Small campground (not a resort) which we like.

We just left Westport yesterday after camping at Horseneck State Reservation. Not much there but it is a beautiful area. Check out Westport Point if you like old houses (1720's and up). We did not see or stay in Wesport Camping Grounds. Sorry!

When visiting Newport (which we loved) we stayed at Fishermens Memorial State Park in Narragansett, RI. The park has full hook up sites, large spaces, and a great location. We would highly recommend it.
