I am still checking for cancelations in J Pennycamp as we only have one night and in Bahia Honda as we have NO nights there and also in Curry Hammock where we have no nights. I check for cancelations at least 15-20 times a day and have been lucking out lately.We love the beautiful state parks in Florida. We have also stayed at St Joe's SP,Steven Foster SP,Talbot Island SP and Fort Clinch SP. in the northern part of Florida.

We too, love the Florida state parks and think they are the best. We have always used them in the past, however we have given up on the process of securing them 11 months in advance to the millisecond.
This year we have finally switched to private parks and will have to pay the higher prices and less desirable sites to be where we want to be.
I have always wondered why Florida doesn't expand on there park system, as they are soo popular and always so full and hard to get into.
