Never never return to Yogi Bear Sturbridge. It was only a one night stay but if we had felt comfortable driving longer, we would not have stayed. We asked for a pull thru so we didn't have to unhook car from motorhome. Little did we know the pull thrus were so close together that we couldn't even open our door all the way due to the slideout from the unit beside of us. What little grass there was apparently hadn't been mowed all summer (this was August) because it was at least 8 inches high. Management rude. Filthy place.
I'll agree with you on that place... When I was there with our camping companions we were parked door to door. Kinda nice, I put out my awning and it touch his camper, like adjoining sites. No campfire that night, it was right under our awning. There was no sewer hook up in our area either, so when it became time to leave we had to tour the whole place to get to the one and only dump station. It wouldn't have been so bad if I could fit under the tree limbs. I had to haul it back to NH and dump in my own facilities. Not a bad place if you don't mind camping in a old gravel pit with hundreds of your new closest friends.
Oh, I should mention it was some sort of Halloween that weekend and we had about 200 kids come knocking on out door. Which we would have gladly left a bowl treats for them if we'd only been informed. It was still September. who knew????
