I also discourage the main road bike ride onto the island with kids. I do it often, but not even with my 14 year old son. Plenty of free parking if you get about 3 or 4 blocks off the beach. Particularly in Wildwood Crest. Beautiful concrete bike path running north south along the beach for about a mile south of the boardwalk, which then ramps up onto the boardwalk. Biking on boardwalk allowed until either 11 am or noon I forget which. I highly recommend you get up there early before the crowds. Most of the pizzarias on the boardwalk offer a breakfast special you can eat on the stools overlooking the beach. Yoga at surise on the beach. I'll post a few pictures here.
