While I have fun giving those of you enjoying the warm temps and light breezes in TX... it's only 35 degrees warmer in WPB FL :B what are your energy costs? I realize the difference is not going to come close to making up the $500+ rent difference between much of Fla and the RGV of TX but my $60 to $75 per month electric bills help. Its easy for me to figure as we are totally electric... never have to use the diesel boiler in my AquaHot as my heat pumps are all I use...yes they will still work down to freezing.The DW knows how to use the Tstats and she isn't going to be cold... putting on extra clothes to keep warm is not an option. So, what is your monthly energy cost keeping it at 68 at night...72 during the day when its cold and the AC comes on when it gets to 80 inside?Not limiting this to just Fla and TX and it would help adding a town and if you use a larger spread on the temps. Sometimes like this which includes electric and propane:WPB FL, $60 to $75/month, 80 to 68 degrees, based on 5+ Winters.PS: we do all our laundry in the rig and dry half of it outside.

Not today as snow is forecasted for tonight in N GA. Having spent the first 40 years of my life in WPB it is the only place I'd consider for the winter. Still have many friends that were not lucky enough to get out while still working. Thank you South Fla Water MISmanagment for getting me out of here, but that's another story for another day.

You rotten rat ....., you're killing me here. :WTo answer your heart felt question .08/kilowatt (about $45/month) and $25 for 40 pounds of propane, just been thru one tank so far. I know you're on a tight budget and these things can help you decide whether to stay, or come and enjoy the Texas hospitality we got here and leave that rat race behind you call WPB. :B BTW, if it keeps being cold here, keep your eyes open for a nice spot for me would ya.

Hope you are enjoying the 32 degrees going all the way up to 47 today. With 16 mph winds I wonder what the wind chill is? Oh wait, you are huddle up inside saving money so your kids can go first class.

This is on the back of my MH as their is some truth to the saying "If you don't go first class your children will".

PS: It's more than twice the price as we are headed out to meet friends for breakfast and then going to go ocean fishing.

What??? 16mph is calm around here. Guessing we were at gust of 30-40 last night. The old RV was a rocking, but not in the good way. :B

I do plan on spending the kids inheritance. Problem is no-one has told me my end date. Makes long division kinda tuff if you don't know the denominator.

Currently 31 degrees with winds 20-27 mph. Have another glass of that fresh squeezed liquid sunshine FL orange juice on me you dirty dog. :W

FWIW, southern TX gets 2-6 weeks of winter. Thinking the TX tourism department overlooked that part when they called the area subtropical in their PR magazines.
