YES!!!!! It's the year my DW retires and we take off FULL TIME!!!!!!

Yes.....retiring in the spring of 2017 and going on a cross Canada trip.......

Wow lots a futures retirees, I took my retirement almost 3yrs ( will be this April) at 55 and it's the best decision I took and loving every minute of it!

Planning our 2017 trip back home to Upstate NY. This will be our sons last big trip with us before he heads off to the Coast Guard. This will be a sad yet exciting for us.

My son said be can't wait to get his own trailer and start trveling on his own and join us from time to time. Where does time go...

I have sent deposits for the most popular snowbird locations for winter 2017 and hope I am still around to use them.

Well, I am. Unfortunately, there are three big pieces and we now have very limited resources due to the abrogation.
1 - The Eclipse is a big part of it and I don't think it can be rescheduled. It would more than likely be the last one we will have a chance to see. With the next being almost 7 years later.
2 - We want to go east once more, Cape Breton and maybe Newfoundland.
3 - DW still wants to do PCH south to north so we are on the inside lane.

That is probably more than we can manage in a year, but if I don't make some plans and run the numbers, we will just never know.

Yes we are already in the talking phase of looking ahead to next year. We both still work we are only in our 40's got awhile before retirement. We always have our favorite places to go for weekend getaways but also like to make a couple of longer trips to see things. We do have a lot of great parks in fla and south Al to choose from. To me part of the fun is planning the big trips

We have to seasonal camp that summer due to ongoing medical issues that forced us to cancel our plans for 2016. If we get to do any camping we have a 30 day opening during the first month of fall this year. Moving the seasonal spot back a year was made easier by the campground owner being understanding and working with us.

We have planned a trip for 2017 already. At the top of my wife's bucket list was seeing the Rose Parade.Will we have tickets along with BIL and SIL. Us in our 5er and them in their TT.Staying in San Demas at East Shore.Will be leaving here in Kansas around Christmas Day and returning around the middle of Febuary.Hope we have another mild winter here.
