Update. I am currently posting from in thr rv at our campsite in Yellowstone. We are at canyon village campground. AT&T has service, both voice and 4g data. Before leaving home I dropped 25bucks to make our smartphone a wifi hotspot, this also got us an extra 3gigs of data to use. I can stop the service whenever. Not having to battle campground wifi or was well worth the $.
