- LaurenExplorerWe get to Bryce a lot ---- love it 100 times over going down the canyon at Zion. Bryce has long drive and many, many viewpoints and things to do.

Thanks everyone!!! What about Bryce, Ruby's booked.
Personally, I would stay at Zion over Bryce any day if you can get in. Bryce is pretty to look at but there's much more to do in Zion in my opinion. - Diannat60ExplorerThanks everyone!!! What about Bryce, Ruby's booked.

Zion itself is a zoo.... felt like an amusement park to me. We stayed at Zion River Resort a few miles down the road and I was glad to be able to get away from the hoards of people every day.

Good luck this time of year!
+1+1 - Ron3rdExplorer IIIDon't let the naysayers scare you away; Zion is an experience you should experience. It's like all the big parks, Yosemete, etc, but I would not call it a "zoo". We've been there twice on Memorial day, and yes it was crowded, but all the big parks are. Lots of places to stay if you can't get into Watchman. Only downside is it can get HOT in the summer; that's why they have electric in Watchman so you can run your A/C.
We can't wait to go back to Zion! - Mid-Sept. shouldn't be too bad. I am surprised that Zion Watchman is full. There is a large area of no hook ups that can handle medium sized rigs.
- LaurenExplorerGood luck then, also. Best get going on it.
Zion, in general, is a real zoo. And RV parks are, as expected, costly.
