When we are at the beach, we use ours all the time. Not really to SHOWER, but to get in, take our suit off, wash the sand off and out of "those" areas before we go into the 5'er. I have a robe hanging right at the entrance to the 5'er that I will slip into to go around to the front door.
The kids get in, I spray the sand out of the crevices and off their suits, hand them a robe and around they go. I have a plastic COKE crate that we stand on to keep our feet from getting muddy.
At least half of all the campers there have a somewhat similar setup and no one complains when we use it - it's the same as the outdoor showers they have at the bath houses, except mine has a crate. Theirs just has muddy sand to stand on and collect the water.
