Awning Rail Inserts

Question

I have the need to make use of the unused portion of my awning rail for another purpose and am searching for a manufacturer that might provide generic inserts that can be slid in the opening at the ends of the rail.

Does anyone know of a source for such inserts?

If you have some paracord handy, you can make your own.   Using a short piece of cord, tie a knot in one end with about a 1 inch tail.  This part slides into the awning tube slot.  Tie a loop in th we other end.  Works best if you tie the loop first, then the knot, then slide into tube.  I use them to hang my screen shade.
