Best place to purchase awning fabric

Ordered our new fabric from Dyers and it arrived in 3 days. My husband called 2 friends and they put the new fabric on. It took several hours and we love the outcome.

The best fabric is the Sunbrella without the second layer. Avoid black, red, brown as these will fade the fastest. Go with yellow, blue, or green as they reflect more UV and will last 3x as long. Sunbrella comes in two widths so get the wider fabric so you will have fewer seams.

Ready made awnings will cost at least twice as much and are not going to last as long as there is little in the way of reinforcing of stress points.

Just replaced mine about 2 months ago. Purchased from PPL in Houston, website very easy to use and they were great to talk to. Price was good and shipping was super fast.

Thank you all for your quick response. I did look on E-Bay and your posts just solidifies purchasing from there.

I 2nd eBay. I don't think you'll get that much cheaper trying to do it all yourself and with eBay, you'll get something that will work with nothing other than installing it.

I found carefree and A&E fabric very reasonable on E-Bay. Got a 21' fabric for $141 plus shipping that was about $20.
