The bucket test assumes you want or need to run it at full pressure, so as noted by tenbear it may be meaningless as when boondocking, or trying to save water, this is rarely the case.
The oxygenics shower head (at least to me) does seem to give a better pressure feeling while using less water, which is what we were after, but if you are trying to be ultra conservative with water, then note that the water pressure does need to be up a bit more than a trickle just to make the shower head work right. Otherwise it's just a pencil stream with little spray, whereas your original shower head may have a wider spray at a lower pressure but with a less pressurized feeling.
As far as with city pressure or with my pump the results were the same or better with my pump. Probably due to having a 45 pound reducer on the hose, while my pump can put out over 55.
