Body Spa Oxygenics Shower Head

I bought the Oxygenics RV shower head, installed it, tried it, didn't like it, and swapped to a brand new Delta shower head just like the original (which had a different name on it, but has been bought out by Delta)

Better feel of water "action" on skin than my el-cheapo stock head, for the same (or less) amount of water. Very happy in off-grid camping now. Maybe some stock heads are higher quality, but mine wasn't.

Its design is similar to High Sierra heads that were much talked and written about. Sierra is metal (wasn't important to me), and costs few times more.

The water in this head is funneled through the, er... funnel, to make spray wider without using a wide disk with many holes. I can see where it might need a pressure a little more than a trickle, to make it work right, since this is not a "rain shower" head. But the net result is - better feel with less water than my old head, and this was all I wanted.

I didn't realize I haven't been back to review my purchase. We love the Oxygenics shower head! Such an improvement over the one that came with the RV. We even showered in the RV a couple of times that we had access to a public shower. Highly recommend it.

purchased this after reading the post and we are very pleased..Used half the water typically myself and wife would use and loved the pressure...Only drawback was so much pressure caused water to drain from back of tub to the floor...Also didn't use the wall hanger it came with bc it fit into original one with camper

I installed the Oxygenics several years ago and am pleased with its performance.

Bought one and installed it. Won't go back. Whether it does or not, it makes me feel like I get a better flow.

We've also got the Oxygenics and while it does OK on the pump, it really shines when you're hooked up to city water.

The bucket test assumes you want or need to run it at full pressure, so as noted by tenbear it may be meaningless as when boondocking, or trying to save water, this is rarely the case.

The oxygenics shower head (at least to me) does seem to give a better pressure feeling while using less water, which is what we were after, but if you are trying to be ultra conservative with water, then note that the water pressure does need to be up a bit more than a trickle just to make the shower head work right. Otherwise it's just a pencil stream with little spray, whereas your original shower head may have a wider spray at a lower pressure but with a less pressurized feeling.

As far as with city pressure or with my pump the results were the same or better with my pump. Probably due to having a 45 pound reducer on the hose, while my pump can put out over 55.

We bought one for the trailer -- discovered it was too big and heavy for our tiny shower stall. So, we put it in our shower in our stick house -- it is wonderful. Highly recommend it.
