I have been doing Auto Zone batteries for years. Except for my pair of 6v GC batteries in the RV. Those came from Interstate.

Yes, measure before going to the store.

I've had good luck with Costco.

As the years have went by I have become a fan of NAPA battery's. Then there is the northern and southern or hot climate battery.

650 cca is standard
750 cca is "heavy duty" per Ford terms/manuals

Our 14 Thor Class-C came with the 650 cca

I also get the highest capacity battery that will fit in the tray. For my 2 pickups that equates to 900cca. X2 on the Motorcraft longevity, although I replaced them after 10 years with Interstate batteries from Costco.

I'm a huge cheapskate and that includes batteries. However, I got 10 years, 1 month out of my original Motorcraft battery and it was not lightly used. When I needed a new one, I replaced it with the same battery.

Hi,

I always put in the biggest meanest battery that fits the available space.

Here is what Interstate says.Interstate
I would go to local big box store, auto parts store and get one with the same cranking amps, either 750 or above. Get one with at least a 60 month warranty or greater.

Go to a big box auto parts place. Their computer will tell you what you need.

I just went to Auto Zone's web site and entered my E450 as an owned vehicle. I asked for a starting battery, and it suggested 8 possibilities.

What is in it now?
Did it last long?

One with 750 CCA should work. That is recommended for F250-F350's
