Costco 6V GC battery price?

I'm not a member (yet?) at Costco, but curious if anyone has bought any or checked the price of their 6 volt golf cart batteries lately? I'm considering upgrading my dual 12 volt group 24's, although I might have an issue with the height of the 6 volt batteries....will verify first. Just curious what they are selling for. I live quite a ways from the nearest Costco, so not sure if it's worth joining or not.

I've bought batteries from Costco and found their prices to be quite competitive. However, in your case you might want to check out the Interstate Distributor in your area to see if they have any "blemished" batteries. These are batteries that were not sold by dealers and returned to the distributor due to age. The distributor checks the batteries before offering them for sale, which is normally at a little more than 1/2 price. I've bought several from them and have good luck. Our distributor is in Lynnwood, south of Everett.

Check the rating and stock in your local store. Very likely it will be the 208 amp/hr battery.
Sam's Club by me sells both the 208 Ah and the 232 Ah (or is it 220?)

Traveling "quite a ways" for a battery and paying for the privledge? You know what I'm going to say...

But if there is other value like 4% cash back on fuel, some lower priced or better values then it might be worth it.

If you do not travel far from home then buy close to home so IF there is a problem you have a local guy to deal with.
IF however you travel long distances then maybe the trip is worth it.
How much extra time do you expect to get from the switch or are there other factors

109 bucks for the 230 Ah 6 volts.
