Couple of Electrical Plug Mods

Gotcha...Might have to do some measuring on mine to see how much I can move it and what size box will fit, thanks for the pic!

I moved my battery and tanks forward a small amount. The toolbox overhangs the battery which will reduce the chance of theft.

Just a side note- one of the best mods I had done on our pull trailer was I had the local welding shop increase the length of our trailer tongue from 3' to 6'. This increase in length made a world of difference.

Got the box at Lowe's. Only one that had that narrow of a box (my trailer has a short tongue). I just looked and they are now $169. Mine is about 3 years old or so, not sure what I paid then. Otherwise it is a nice box. Held on to the tongue with square U bolts (from McMaster). I put a side pull on the latch so I wouldn't have to fish between the tanks to unlatch it. You can see the knob on the side just below the black 12dc receptacle I use to run my water pump (to fill the fresh tank from totes).

Did you find a good source for the box? Those things can be kinda spendy.
