DEFINITIVE OXYGENICS SHOWER HEAD BUCKET TEST ???

After seeing all the posts on how good the Oxygenics shower head is and someone asked to run a side by side bucket test.I thought I might.(yes I'm that bored)

As a disclamer, I have a Oxygenics shower head and am very pleased with it. It is powerful and does a much better job,as far as I'm concerned, and it takes less time to shower and rinse. I REALLY LIKE IT.As where the original one puts out a weak spray and takes forever to shower and rinse.

Now for the test. This was done with my on board water and stock water pump, your results may vary.Using my original shower head.Like this.

I used a 3 Gallon bucket for the test. With both Hot and Cold on full.

The old one took 2 Minutes 10 seconds to fill the 3 Gallon bucket.

The Oxygenics took 2 Minutes 30 seconds to fill the 3 Gallon bucket.

I will let the math wizards figure that out.

I know that the time is not much different BUT the strength of the flow on the Oxygenics is so much better I seem to take a Shorter, Quicker and more Refreshing shower.

Ok now we can let the debate begin.:B

I did and it is way better than the stock one. Much more adjustable.

We just bought one this past w/e. Seems to work pretty good so far. Better than the stock shower head.

How many have mounted the new shower head "holder" that came with the Oxygenics kit? The stock holder seems to hold it ok. Just wonder if it is that much better, if so, I will mount it when time allows.

Yeah, they all do that. It is a design feture to keep warm water close by. Problem is that the cold water pushes though the hot line s you get cold water shot. I turn mine so it faces the wall.

We loved ours enough that before we ever picked our new 5er up we bought an Oxygenics head. Never even used the stock one. It is in a bag under the bed. I did do some modifications to our shower head. The valve was at an unusual angle pointing up and the hose was kinda kinked making it easy to catch when showering. I also put the shutoff down at the valve to help out some.

I tried one. The problem I had was when you turn off the flow to suds up the little stream of water hits you right in the face instead of towards the floor. Not a fun way to shower. I took it back. Does all of them do this?

OG works great for us. Does use more water at full open, but pressure is way better than OEM.

I have a class b with limited water capacity. I put the Oxgenetics on to try to save a little water, I tested it side by side with the stock shower head Winnebago uses using a bucket and timer.

In my test the stock shower head used slightly less water than the OG.
I also did see any noticeable difference in the way it sprayed water, I left the stock shower head on.

Isn't the design of the Oxygenics Shower Head to induce air into water stream hence the name.....Oxygenics

Induced air causes stronger stream using less water
Is it time for your medication or mine?

Thought I'd bump this old thread and see if the love affair with the OXYGENICS is still going and how everyone likes the new valves and such.

Don't care much for drown proof shower heads. Don't boonie dock much. Plenty of water at camp ground or if it is bad pressure fill the tank through the filters and use the pump.

Everyone needs to stop whining and just go with a Commando 450 shower head.
