Durability of Command strip hooks and hangers?

I think one of the bigger advantage to Command strips is that they can be readily removed or relocated without damaging the surface it's attached to. I've used them in several places and love em. I happiest with the towel racks I put in the bathroom and kitchen where I had spent hours trying to figure out where I needed to drill through the wall and hopefully find a stud to attach screw to.
