When boondocking in the winter, the generator runs all the time. If I were not alone, I could curb those hours. While the generator runs, my oil filled heater cycles on and off, drawing 900 watts.
Of course there are limits on outside temps.
Too far north for a heat pump. Talking teens and 20s outside temp.
