Has anyone tried to add a sky light?

These things work OK when you have room for them.

You need at least 18 inches between the roof and the ceiling.

Well I guess you may have to replace all them lights with LED'S so you can leave them on longer

I did the LED light upgrade and it sure made a difference but it's no replacement for natural light.

I want one of those too. The problem with our trailer is that the windows are tinted black and unless you have the lights on all the time you can't see anything. (especially if you're over 40)

I do have A/C ducting. I took a few lights off but there is only a small hole for the wiring. I think I would have to figure out how to remove some of the ceiling panels to be able to plan this out.

What about one of those openings that has the reflective lining. I think they would be easier to install; not as big in diameter but still allow a lot of light.

I did add a roof vent in a previous trailer for that reason. Made a huge difference. You need to locate the vent between the rafters, mine were just enought to fit a 14" vent. I did not have ducts for the a/c, watch out for them, and wires! Lots of things running thru that space up there. I pulled down a cieling light to look first.
