How do You mount/cover your Portable Generator?

It's a portable generator, so I don't "mount" it at all. I carry it in a compartment. I pull it out and set it on the ground near the shore cable. A cable and padlock prevents it from leaving home. If rain threatens, I might slide it under the trailer slide, but don't run it under there. If we must run it while raining, I just drape a cover loosely over it to shed the rain. Tarp or piece of carpet.
