I connected directly to an open 12V circuit on my converter > 14g silicone wire to the terminal block > terminal block to LED receiver > LED receiver to 16' LED extension via internal channel for the awning power > to LED light strip, (siliconed connection). Located the hole and connection for the running light. Drilled a small hole in the running light plate and ran the remote sensor to the hole. Done. I left out the 2hours plus that I used an electrical fish tape to run the 16' extension through the horizontal frame channel that was used for the awning power. Hope this helps.
