- johnm1Explorernayther - not sure what drawer system your referencing but the Lippert 236558 RV Double Box Under Chassis Storage Unit is rated for 100# in each bin.
- naytherExploreronly 10# capacity in drawers, not much other than hoses and plastics but not too bad an idea. CW has them on sale too.
- PamfromVAExplorerThey are very sturdy. Do get water in them but the drawers have drain holes. Your chairs would get wet if you were towing in the rain. Not so much just sitting.
- johnm1ExplorerPamfromVA - Thanks you. Follow up's if you don't mind.
- I assume you feel that it's robust then? Like it's not going to fall out, or apart while driving down the road? I have one small(ish) outside storage door and really could use the extra space.
- I know they aren't waterproof but do they fill up with water to the point where you need to drain them? Would the camp ax rust? If my camp chairs fit, would they get wet?
Thanks
BTW: bluie5 - To answer the original question that I posted, it (almost) makes no difference what was going in the bins ... unless I was putting batteries or gold bars in it, then yes it would. Sadly, I don't have any spare gold bars :) The bins are rated for 100# each so no batteries are going in there either. And yes, this would be a very expensive stinky slinky storage bin. - PamfromVAExplorerWe have had one for about 8 years between two campers and love it. Keep all the sewer stuff on one side and extra sewer stuff and door mats on the other.
- bluie5ExplorerWhat do you want to put in it? I just put a 6 inch pvc pipe, with screw on end caps, under my 5er last weekend for all my sewer stuff. It was a lot cheaper than those bins.
