I am a Weber Q dude. I have 2 gas & 1 charcoal. Just purchased a new 5th wheel that came with a grill & a bumper mount.

Question #1 - are those grills that come with campers anygood? I think it is an RV500 or something.

#2 - is there anyone who has used the mount and mounted a Weber Q?

Thanks.

I like to be adaptable. No cooking on the ground for me. Not so sure about having a grill up close to the side of the trailer either.

Magma marine grill with surface mount in tray slide.

Picnic table mount.

Also made a wooden truck receiver hitch mount.

Thats the one, charcoal on the sides an aluminum drip pan in the middle and if you like some wood chips or chunks for extra smoke.

Is this the rotisserie you're talking about?

I have looked at this table. Would be nice to have but pricy.

Our TT came with an Aussie grill that mounts on a bumper swingarm. It works well for us. It does not heat evenly, though. The temperature is higher on the back half of the grill, even though it has one burner. But, once I learned this, I adjust how I cook on it and it can be used as an advantage if you need two temperature zones.

I emailed this company and it cost $235 for the mount and adapter needed to mount the Weber Q. Nice to have but I think I will try something different first. Thanks

I'm looking for a portable grill that has a rotisserie as an accessory, any ideas?

That was what I was expecting to read. Thanks

Anyway to use the mount with a weber q?

Zacky,
I like having the flexibility of moving my Weber Q around, so I don't think I would like the "mounted" option. I got the optional Weber rolling cart for my Q and both are about 10 years old and still work great. I did the conversion to run the Q off the trailer quick-connect with a 12" hose. Works great.

As to "mounting" a Q on something, I've never seen it done and they're quite heavy as you already know. Doesn't seem like a very desirable option to me.

I had one.

It STILL gets grease and smoke all over the back end of your RV.
It may be away from the back end but any wind sends it up and all over the back end and the grease spits that far with or without any wind.
I used it once and took it off.

Just saying IMHO I didn't like the mess. And I like my fires/heat/grease way way far away from my RV.
