New BAL Leveler storwage box

I decided to make a box to hold the BAL Leveler. I took 2X6 and ripped down to 4 1/8 inch, cut to length, then Since I had a couple of 2X2 I cut these off for the bottom, I bought a piece of 1/4 inch oak plywood from Lowes and cut it to size. I glued and air stapled the plywood to the 2X6 sides. I had a piece of the plywood left and put it on top of the 2X2 bottoms. I then used a piece of 1 X4 on each side of the top for hand holds. The leveler just fits in and now the screw will stay clean and the leveler wi easier to handle and to pack.

Pics or it didn't happen. :W

Being made of wood it sounds heavy, a much lighter weight option is a pizze bag which many have used for this purpose. Years ago when we were still camping in a single axle popup I built a false floor for the rear of our Explorer and stored the BAL Leveler under it - out of sight, out of mind, but instantly available anytime.

When not in use I kept the drive screw covered with foam pipe wrap.
