New Steps Needed After Axle Flip - Recommendations?

I have a 2011 MVP Summit 25-BH travel trailer I recently bought. I went from a pretty tall 19' foot Fleetwood to this and learned quickly that the extra 6 feet of trailer length causes clearance issues. So I went in and had the axles flipped and feel much better about not ripping my drain pipes off. Now the entry steps are too high so I was just going to swap on a triple step set-up. The problem is that EVERY triple step kit I find is 27" wide at the frame where mine is 25.5". I found one guy online who had the exact same problem as me but I still can't find steps that will fit my trailer. Is my only option to saw off my existing double step assembly and weld on the wider 27" versions? Has anyone else experienced this and successfully found a solution?

Did the DW do "step aerobics" years ago? I retrieved the "step" from our basement,it is an easy, stable bottom step when needed. Plastic, weatherproof, easily spray painted. Have seen these in thrift stores for $5.

They emailed me back and sure enough these steps are also 27" at the frame. Bummer.
The fancy steps others have posted sure are nice, but I'm really trying to keep this <$200 if at all possible.

I found a few folding double step stools that I might give a try. Really was hoping for some manual RV triple steps that would fit but sounds like it's just not in the cards.

Another happy Glow Stepper. Our trailer is seriously lifted, and we often camp in un-level boondocking sites. The GSR makes all the difference -- my wife is only 5'1" (at most) and loves the GSR.

I am sure the Glo steps are great but I have used this since last Summer and they work great! I like my custom carpet!

My GlowStep Revolution is the best addition I have made to my 5'er without question. Great product. This opinion is after a full year in service.

If the frame is too wide for your camper then I would say to go to the GlowStep Revolution- 3 Step MFG Part Number: A8103

It is quite pricy but is probably the best RV step made and it comes in the size you need. I find it hard to believe however that the standard RV step you are looking for is not easier to find. That size door is almost standard as a rear door on all two door trailers and almost all of the smaller trailers.

Thanks BarneyS! I sent them an email to confirm. I'll be thrilled if that works.

Pretty much all steps I've found are 24" at the step but the frames are 27". Here are some examples:

Wow, thanks for all the replies, very appreciated.

We used a step stool prior to the axle flip and I felt like that was barely enough. Now with the flip, the stool isn't going to be enough. We have a 3 year old and a 1 year old and my aim is to keep it within their use.

Enblethen, I will definitely check that out. I can't believe how hard this has been to try and find. I figured if someone made the double steps at 25.5" the triple steps HAD to exist somewhere.

Dewey02, that version is much better than the plastic stool we got at CW. I'll consider that one as well.

We bought this for $19 (on sale) at Harbor Freight.
It was too tall, so I took off the plastic footpads, cut it down to size and then reinstalled the footpads. Works great.

If you want the best it's Torque lift. I installed a set on my FW and posted with pics but searched and cant find any of my posts over a year old. Not cheap but very good and great customer service.

Mine are 27 but they offer 25.5
It took some cutting and grinding to remove my old step.

I built a 30" X 36" box out of exterior grade plywood high enough to make the step up to the first step comfortable. I left the bottom open on the box so I can turn it over in the bed of my truck to carry stuff in when towing. I covered the top and sides in outdoor carpet. It has been a handy thing to have and works great as a bottom step after our axles were flipped.
